Alexa rankings

Interesting to see where Ignition consumer properties are right now according to Alexa. Not the most reliable, but it is pretty clear that if you are an Alexa 100 company, you are worth $1B at least and if you are an Alex 10 company you are worth about $100B on average:

BTW someone should write the equivalent of stock ticker for Firefox that shows Alexa rankings of various Internet sites.

There is really something to this. But I don't think it's stops at valuation. I think there is a strategy to map the ecosystem of partners and plot their alexa ranking and prioritize a link relationship. For example AOL is a 20, we should link, D-link is 4,229 we should also link, they are way better than our own. How do you form partnerships that sky rocket your Alexa ranking and of course your internet visability.... This is far cheaper than anything else you could do.
