Qwest sneaks into residential VoIP
Not much surprise it isn't a very competitive offer.
In a similar vein, consider their new "naked DSL" package, which ought to save you money, but by the time you are done buying the ISP services (which are priced differently when packaged with naked DSL!) it is pretty close to a draw, surprise surprise!
Qwest quietly has begun offering residential voice over Internet
Protocol (VoIP) phone service in its 14-state service area – with no
public announcement – but at prices far higher than most non-telco VoIP
providers.
